Life with Ava

Poop in the bathwater.

Now there's something nobody tells you about beforehand. And there's nary a mention of how to handle that particular phenomenon in any of the many baby books I own.

J was a trooper in dealing with it. He had Ava out of the water in .2 seconds and was dangling her naked self above the tub while yelling for me. She, of course, was laughing like a slightly crazed hyena. I was quickly handed a sopping wet baby and was out of there, ostensibly to dry her off and get her dressed for bed while he sorted out the situation. I have no idea what he did after I left the room - nor do I want to know.

Ick.
