Life with Ava

She almost took a nap at daycare today but her timing sucked and she was dozing off just as I walked in to pick her up. Once she heard me speak it was all over though and she was up again. Compound that by the fact that J locked the garage interior door so I couldn't get into the house and had to go to his work to get his keys and it all added up to Ava not getting more than about a 40 minute nap (in the car) today. Not good. Cranky baby who went into an hour long total screaming meltdown shortly after we got home (and still didn't go to sleep) and cranky mama who had a headache and was ticked off at Daddy for locking the door that is NEVER locked (remember this is an interior door - not exterior).

J came home and took over baby duty for a while and I got a little concerned when all went quiet. I peeked around the corner and saw this:

Mind you, this is significant because this is the first time Ava has ever fallen asleep on J like this. She'll lay with me but would never be still with J long enough to fall asleep. So how on earth could I stay mad when I saw them cuddled up and napping together?

And then the tables turned. J got mad at me - when I woke her up taking pictures. Oops!
